An Apostle by grace:

_”For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ” (2 Corinthians 4:6).

*Message:* Light put darkness to flee. The heart of a natural or unconverted heart is dark. It is dark in the sense that it is corrupt by sin and continue to be corrupted by desires to do things that displeases God. The moment a man put his faith on the Lord Jesus Christ and accepted Him to be His Lord the light of God shines in the individual’s heart. He or she becomes a righteous person. The light of God gives the knowledge of God’s glory and motivates one to desire to please God. What a great privilege to have the knowledge of God’s glory through the Holy Spirit. Think of these:

  1. It is the Lord that commands light to shine in the dark, it is the Lord who can bring about a transformation in the life of any man.
  2. It is a great privilege to have the light of God shines in our heart through His word and the power of His Spirit.
  3. God expects us to grow in the knowledge of Him daily and to also communicate that knowledge to others who have nor known Him.
